    WhatsUK is operated by WhatsUK Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, based in Manchester, United Kingdom. We provide free UK financial calculators at whatsuk.com.

    No advertising cookies. We do not use advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies of any kind.

    3. Data We Collect

    3.1 Calculator Inputs

    All calculations run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. We do not transmit, store, or process your financial inputs on our servers. When you enter a salary, property price, or any other figure, that data never leaves your device.

    3.2 Email Subscriptions

    If you subscribe to our newsletter or download a guide, we collect your email address only. This is stored via ConvertKit (see Section 5). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.

    3.3 Contact Form

    When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, and message content - solely to respond to your enquiry.

    3.4 Analytics Data

    If you Accept All cookies, Google Analytics records anonymised page-view data (device type, country, pages visited, time on site). IP addresses are anonymised before storage. We do not link this data to any individual.

    3.5 Technical Logs

    Our hosting provider automatically logs: anonymised IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. Used for security and performance only; deleted after 30 days.

    4. How We Use Your Data

    • To send newsletters and guides (email subscribers only)
    • To improve calculator accuracy and user experience via anonymised analytics
    • To ensure the security and correct functioning of the site
    • To comply with legal obligations

    We do not: sell your data, use it for advertising, share it with third parties for marketing, or build individual user profiles.
